Description

We are partnering with a leading international financial institution known for its robust presence across global markets and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and regulatory excellence. As part of their continued focus on strengthening their Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) framework, we are seeking an experienced professional in AML to join their team in a key role. This position offers the chance to work within a dynamic, multicultural environment, contributing directly to the institution's risk management and compliance strategies.

Your tasks

  • Risk Assessments:
    • Support the preparation and consolidation of local and group-level AML/CTF/Sanctions and Criminal Offences Risk Assessments.
    • Contribute to the annual EMEA AML Risk Assessment and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Policy Implementation:
    • Execute project-based implementation of risk assessment conclusions into policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as Local MLROs, Office Heads, and EMEA teams.
    • Support the continuous enhancement of the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) policy framework.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of AFC regulatory horizon scanning.
    • Support internal and external audits, monitor the resolution of findings, and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Oversee the administration of committee meetings and report to the MLRO and senior management regarding AFC findings to facilitate effective decision-making.

Your profile

  • Professional Background:
    • Several years of experience in the financial sector, specifically in AML compliance.
    • Expertise in developing and enhancing risk assessments.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex or sensitive issues assertively and proactively.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to fast-paced environments, and maintain flexibility.
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a focus on detail and multitasking.
  • Education & Languages:
    • University degree in Law, Business, Economics, or equivalent qualifications
    • Proficiency in German and English (written and verbal).
