Our client, a reputable international bank, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join their team in Frankfurt. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to improve internal controls and risk management processes.

Your tasks

• Plan, lead, and execute internal audits across various business functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and assess risks, control deficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing practical recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices to enhance audit methodologies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Several years of experience in internal audit within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of German banking regulations and international audit standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
