A prestigious international financial institution is seeking a dedicated and experienced KYC Professional to join its Corporate Banking division. This department serves capital market-oriented and mid-sized companies, covering industries such as shipping, real estate, infrastructure, and energy, as well as structured finance. In particular, the Shipping division supports international shipping companies with account management and daily banking transactions. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong KYC background and a passion for enhancing processes and digital solutions.

Your tasks

• Update national and international customer data for legal entities and foundations in compliance with current KYC and CDD (Client Due Diligence) regulations.
• Conduct systematic screenings and background checks using databases to identify potential risks (sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), embargos, negative news, etc.).
• Independently engage with customers and coordinate with internal departments as needed.
• Address and process case-related inquiries from internal teams and customers in both German and English.
• Continuously develop and digitalize process workflows and monitoring systems.

Your profile

• University degree in economics or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in a financial institution with a focus on KYC and familiarity with (international) corporate structures; experience with shipping clients is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong German and English language skills.
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style with strong decision-making abilities.
