Are you an experienced legal professional with a deep understanding of corporate governance, corporate law, and the inner workings of executive and supervisory boards?
Join a dynamic, internationally active international bank and contribute to the legal and strategic backbone of the organization. In this key role, you will support and advise senior management on governance matters while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
Plan, coordinate, and document meetings of the Executive Board, Supervisory Board (including its Committees), and Shareholders’ Meetings.
Ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and adherence to internal procedures and German corporate law.
Manage all aspects of corporate housekeeping, including the timely preparation and maintenance of statutory records and documentation.
Act as a trusted legal advisor with a focus on corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary interface on governance issues, coordinating across various departments and international branches.
Ensure sound execution and follow-up of board-level decisions.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Fully qualified German lawyer (2nd State Exam preferred) or a commercial law degree with relevant experience (e.g. Wirtschaftsjurist).
Several years of relevant legal experience in the financial services industry, particularly in corporate law and banking regulation.
Strong knowledge of German Corporate Law and European Banking Regulation.
Proven ability to navigate complex corporate structures and regulatory landscapes.
Comfortable advising and communicating with senior stakeholders across different business cultures.
Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
High level of autonomy, accountability, and a proactive approach to managing legal processes.
Fluency in German and English is essential.
