Serve as a trusted advisor on compliance and regulatory matters across the EMEA region
Manage internal and group-wide compliance reporting processes and communication
Design and deliver training on compliance and conduct topics to staff at all levels
Draft, update, and maintain policies in line with German and EU regulations
Support responses to regulatory examinations, audits, and internal investigations
Monitor information barriers and insider-trading prevention procedures
Review, investigate, and assess potential breaches, ensuring timely escalation and reporting
Track German and EU regulatory developments and recommend appropriate implementation measures
Contribute to cross-functional projects as the Control Room subject matter expert
Collaborate closely with other offices across the European group to deliver consistent compliance support
Several years of experience in compliance within the financial services sector, ideally in wholesale banking, a broker-dealer, or a securities house
Solid knowledge of German and EU financial regulatory frameworks
Strong ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements effectively
Excellent communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
Capable of working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Adept at building strong relationships and advising stakeholders on compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and internal processes
Proficiency in Control Room systems and Microsoft Office applications
