We are partnering with a leading European private bank, headquartered in Germany, to appoint a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for Regulatory Reporting. This role sits within the bank’s Regulatory Reporting team, working closely with the Risk Controlling, IT and Finance functions. The successful candidate will lead the production, enhancement and control of key regulatory reporting (credit, liquidity and solvency) and support strategic transformation initiatives.
Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of credit reporting (AnaCredit, large exposures, million loans) in line with national and European regulations.
Drive liquidity and solvency reporting activities, including LCR, NSFR, AMM, Own Funds and Leverage Ratio.
Maintain and further develop the reporting software (e.g. BAIS) including interfaces to core banking and data systems, in close cooperation with IT.
Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders, auditors and regulators for all inquiries related to regulatory reporting.
Perform analyses and simulations based on reporting data and identify optimisation opportunities in data quality, processes and technical workflows.
Support regulatory change implementation (CRR/CRD, AnaCredit updates, large exposure rules) and integrate new requirements into existing processes.
Lead, coach and develop a small team of reporting specialists and ensure consistent, high-quality reporting delivery.
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent; alternatively completed banking apprenticeship with further qualification.
Several years of professional experience in regulatory reporting within a bank, ideally with strong credit-reporting expertise.
Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as AnaCredit, CRR/CRD and large exposure regulations.
Experience with regulatory reporting systems (e.g. BAIS or equivalent) and interfaces between business, data and IT.
High IT affinity and strong analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
Fluent German language skills (written & spoken) and fluent English skills.
Strong communication, ability to work under time pressure and excellent attention to detail regarding data quality and compliance.
