An internationally active financial institution is looking to hire an Outsourcing Manager / Third-Party Risk Manager to join its Governance function.

This role sits at the intersection of regulation, technology, and vendor management, ensuring compliant and efficient outsourcing practices within a modern, technology-driven banking environment.

Your tasks

• Act as the central point of contact for outsourcing and third-party risk topics across the organization
• Manage the end-to-end outsourcing lifecycle, including due diligence, risk assessment, contract negotiation, and onboarding
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as MaRisk, DORA, and EBA guidelines
• Maintain and enhance the outsourcing register and documentation framework
• Conduct risk assessments, controls, and ongoing monitoring of third-party providers
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Legal, IT, Risk, and Compliance functions
• Support and coordinate internal and external audits (2nd and 3rd Line of Defence)
• Drive the continuous improvement of third-party risk management frameworks and processes

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or Information Technology (or equivalent qualification)
• Proven experience in outsourcing management, third-party risk, or vendor governance within a regulated environment (ideally banking)
• Strong knowledge of MaRisk, DORA, and outsourcing regulatory requirements
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor lifecycle management
• Solid understanding of IT environments and digital infrastructure is highly beneficial
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and control functions
• Fluency in English and German
