For one of our established clients in the financial services sector, we are currently seeking an experienced Head of Digital Banking Services (m/f/d).

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a banking professional with strong expertise in Electronic Banking and Payments who is passionate about digital transformation and innovation. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team and play a key part in shaping the future of digital banking services while driving operational excellence and customer-centric solutions.

Your tasks

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Digital Banking Services team with a strong focus on service quality and accountability.
• Drive the optimisation and continuous enhancement of Electronic Banking processes and customer administration services, including areas such as EBICS, Cash Management and FX-related services.
• Ensure efficient and secure access management and authorisation processes for digital banking platforms across corporate and private banking environments.
• Oversee and further develop card services and cash-related operations as part of an integrated payments landscape.
• Actively contribute to digital transformation, automation and innovation initiatives, including the implementation of AI-driven solutions and new customer-centric services.
• Collaborate closely with business units, clients and technology teams to continuously improve digital banking offerings and operational efficiency.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.

Your profile

• Completed banking apprenticeship or an equivalent academic or professional qualification.
• Solid expertise in Electronic Banking, Digital Banking Services and/or Payment Operations.
• Initial leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate, develop and manage teams successfully.
• Strong interest in digital transformation, automation and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and service-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
