For an established international financial institution, we are currently looking for an experienced IT Auditor (m/f/d) with a strong background in ICT risk, controls and regulatory requirements.

Your tasks

• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and risk management frameworks related to ICT-supported business processes
• Conduct audits considering relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including DORA, EBA Guidelines, ISO standards, COBIT and ITIL
• Document audit findings clearly and ensure appropriate follow-up of agreed remediation measures
• Advise relevant business and technology functions on the design and enhancement of ICT processes and controls
• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of internal audit methodologies and approaches
• Support international audit, assurance and advisory activities across different European and international locations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Risk, Compliance, Information Security and other relevant functions

Your profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in IT Audit, ideally within a bank, financial institution or regulated financial services environment
• Strong understanding of ICT Risk Management, including topics such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party Risk Management
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards, particularly DORA, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/27005 and BSI IT-Grundschutz
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or ITIL are considered an advantage
• Experience with data analytics and related tools such as Power BI is beneficial
• Ability to analyse complex topics and communicate findings clearly and convincingly
• Strong planning, organisational, communication and presentation skills
• Confident user of common Microsoft Office applications
• Very good German and English language skills
