On behalf of a leading European private bank with a long-standing tradition and forward-looking corporate culture, Hirschman Associates is exclusively seeking an experienced Audit Coordination Manager (m/f/d) to join the Bank Management division in Hamburg.
This position offers a central role in coordinating and steering external audits across the organization. You will act as the main liaison between auditors, supervisory authorities, and internal stakeholders — ensuring that audit requirements are met efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with regulatory expectations.
Take ownership of the coordination and management of external audits across the institution
Act as the central point of contact for external auditors, regulatory authorities, and internal business units
Plan, prepare, execute, and follow up on audit processes, including project management and stakeholder communication
Ensure the effective implementation of audit findings and the timely delivery of required documentation
Develop reports and presentations for senior management and identify opportunities for process improvements
University degree in Economics, Business Administration, (Business) Law, or a comparable qualification
Several years of relevant experience in audit coordination, internal/external audit, or financial services
Strong project management and communication skills, ideally within a regulated environment (e.g. banking, financial services, or consulting)
Structured, analytical, and proactive working style with a high level of initiative and ownership
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
