Our client, an international investmentbank, is strengthening its enterprise risk, continuity and regulatory governance capabilities in response to evolving regulatory expectations and business requirements. The role holder will play a key leadership role in shaping, governing and embedding robust continuity, stability and control practices across the organisation.
This is not a pure project management role. It is a hands-on, content-driven leadership position with a strong focus on governance, senior stakeholder engagement and the continued development of firm-wide control and continuity frameworks, including readiness for regulatory requirements such as DORA.
Lead and further develop the bank’s firm-wide continuity, stability and risk control framework in line with regulatory expectations.
Support the identification, documentation and assessment of critical business services and corresponding impact tolerances.
Drive governance, control design and oversight in relation to continuity standards and regulatory obligations.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across risk functions, technology, business units and compliance.
Work closely with business continuity, ICT risk, operational risk, third-party risk and testing teams to ensure an integrated control environment.
Oversee monitoring and reporting of risk, test outcomes, findings and remediation actions to senior management and governance bodies.
Promote continuous improvement of processes, methodologies and tools supporting the bank’s stability and regulatory posture.
Significant experience in business continuity, enterprise risk, operational risk or related control functions within financial services.
Strong understanding of governance frameworks, continuity concepts, testing methodologies and regulatory standards (e.g. DORA)
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.
Excellent analytical and judgement skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical outcomes.
Background in banking or a highly regulated financial services environment.
