Our client, a leading international bank, is strengthening its control and continuity risk capabilities to support regulatory readiness and business stability. We are seeking a Continuity & Control Risk Specialist (m/f/d) who will play a pivotal role in driving key continuity, control and resilience activities across the organisation.
This is a role with content depth and hands-on ownership. You will be involved in end-to-end continuity and control processes, working closely with business and risk partners, and supporting the implementation of regulatory expectations such as DORA.
Support the identification, documentation and assessment of critical business services and related dependencies.
Lead and execute Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and maintain associated continuity documentation.
Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective Business Continuity Management (BCM) execution and testing.
Coordinate and participate in continuity and control tests, scenario planning and outcomes analysis.
Support the monitoring of continuity and control KPIs/KRIs and preparation of reports for governance bodies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ICT Risk, Operational Risk, Third-Party Risk, Incident Management and Compliance.
Contribute to continuous improvement of continuity and control processes, tools and documentation
Several years of experience in business continuity, risk control, operational risk or related first-line control functions — preferably in financial services.
Good understanding of continuity management concepts, critical service mapping, impact analysis and control testing.
Familiarity with regulatory expectations and frameworks (e.g., DORA, ISO 22301) is an advantage.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both business and risk partners.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and contribute to process improvements.
Experience in banking or a highly regulated environment is preferred.
