A global financial services firm seeks an experienced Legal Officer (in-house generalist) to support its growing Legal team. This role provides legal advice across capital markets, FinTech regulatory topics, technology, contracts, IP matters, and regulatory compliance.
Advise senior management on diverse legal matters (contracts, tech partnerships, IP protection)
Ensure compliance with financial regulations (MiFID II, EMIR, FCA rules)
Draft and negotiate contractual terms with clients, partners, and vendors
Support regulatory audits and inquiries; liaise with supervisory authorities
Monitor evolving legislative and regulatory changes and update stakeholders accordingly
German qualified lawyer (2nd State Exam) or equivalent
several years of in-house or law firm experience in financial services, banking, fintech
Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory frameworks, and capital market operations
Excellent communication in English & German
