Our client is expanding their Information Security team in Hamburg and is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Manager to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital assets, enabling secure business operations, and driving continuous improvement of their security posture.
As a Senior Information Security Manager, you will lead and influence key aspects of the bank's information security program. You will act as the central point of contact for security matters across the organization, collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, and help ensure resilient and compliant systems that protect critical data and infrastructure
Act as the primary point of contact and trusted adviser for all information security matters
Support the first line of defense and collaborate with internal stakeholders on security-related initiatives
Integrate security controls into IT projects, system architectures, and business processes
Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks and support incident response activities
Maintain and further develop the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including policies, processes, and controls
Strengthen monitoring capabilities and ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of security governance and risk management practices
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Solid professional experience in information security, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment
Strong knowledge of recognized security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English and German
