We are currently supporting a leading international financial institution in the search for a VP – Compliance Governance & Insider Management (m/f/d) to join their Compliance Advisory team in Frankfurt.

This senior role is critical to ensuring the firm’s governance over sensitive information, including the effective operation of information barriers, insider list management, and oversight of conflict-of-interest protocols. You will act as a trusted Compliance advisor to key business stakeholders and contribute to the firm’s regulatory risk framework through proactive monitoring, reporting, and regulatory alignment.

Your tasks

• Serve as subject matter expert on insider information governance and conflict-of-interest management

• Monitor and enhance information barrier controls and insider trading prevention procedures

• Provide high-quality advisory support on regulatory compliance matters across business areas

• Design, update, and deliver compliance policies and training materials

• Contribute to internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and firm-wide compliance projects

• Investigate and report on potential compliance breaches in relation to control room matters

• Monitor regulatory developments (EU and German) and recommend practical implementation steps

• Collaborate closely with global compliance counterparts on control room initiatives and strategy

Your profile

• Proven experience in financial services compliance, ideally in control room or private side functions

• In-depth understanding of German/EU regulatory frameworks and financial market practices

• Strong working knowledge of information barrier systems and insider list procedures

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in advising senior stakeholders

• Fluency in English; German language skills are an asset
