For one of our international clients in the financial services sector, we are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Compliance Officer (m/f/d).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Compliance function, supporting the further development of the firm's compliance framework and regulatory governance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements while contributing to strategic compliance initiatives.

Your tasks

• Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm's Compliance strategy and governance framework.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating compliance policies, manuals, procedures and internal guidelines.
• Establish and maintain compliance-related documentation and governance records.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation.
• Oversee relevant prudential and conduct-related regulatory requirements and support their implementation.
• Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Develop and coordinate oversight processes for outsourced activities in line with applicable regulatory expectations.
• Prepare regular compliance reporting for senior management and governance committees.
• Support and deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives across the organisation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and the enhancement of the overall compliance framework.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in Compliance or a related control function such as Risk Management, Internal Audit, Consulting or Financial Supervision.
• Strong knowledge of German and European financial market regulations, including frameworks such as MiFID, MiFIR, MAR, MaRisk and MaComp.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and strategic mindset.
• Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools is considered an advantage.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
