On behalf of a bank based in Frankfurt, we are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join its Regulatory Reporting team at the earliest opportunity.

Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will contribute to the preparation of regulatory and statistical returns while supporting the development and automation of reporting processes. The position combines regulatory reporting responsibilities with close collaboration across Financial Reporting, Risk Management and IT.

Your tasks

• Prepare regulatory and statistical returns, including COREP, FINREP and German national reporting.
• Prepare additional reports and notifications for the Deutsche Bundesbank, BaFin and the relevant auditing association.
• Produce internal reports.
• Support related functions, particularly Financial Reporting and Risk Management.
• Work with reporting and core banking systems, including data analysis, interface maintenance and testing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of internal reporting processes.

Your profile

• A qualification in economics, business administration or a related discipline, or completed vocational training in banking complemented by relevant further qualifications.
• several years of experience in regulatory reporting.
• A basic understanding of the legal and supervisory framework applicable to banks.
• Good German and English language skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, numerical aptitude and the ability to understand complex relationships.
• An independent, structured and thorough approach to work.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Abacus360 would be an advantage.
• An affinity for IT and an interest in improving processes and systems.
